Creative, Design, Marketing, UI Design
OXO Riverside Hair is a great hair salon based in the OXO tower in London, they required a logo and marketing material created for their business that would also include their location of business.
We have worked with OXO Riverside Hair to create their brand and marketing online and offline, including their salon signage, flyers, appointment cards and more.
I was asked to create a logo/brand that would reflect the OXO Tower, where their business is based as well as fit their service.
OXO Riverside instructed me to create many forms of marketing material from business cards, loyalty cards, posters to window graphics.
The goal of the website is to determine the best approach and design in order to create an experience where the user is clear on the following:
Some competitor analysis was conducted to find out what OXO Riverside Hair’s competitor/s is, what they offer and what makes OXO Riverside Hair different, we looked at information such as layout, imagery being used, colour schemes and structure. Below are some key findings:
It was my priority to take the brand and create a colour scheme that would work for the business and their needs. Colours used:
We came up with a colour scheme that reflected the OXO Tower identity and a mixture of OXO Riverside Hair. This was so the hair salon was seen as part of the OXO Tower and referred by members within the tower (to draw in local businesses) but we also focused on showing though the companies brand as well.
Once I had a clear indication of competitors and what OXO Riverside wanted in terms of a brand and their colour scheme I quickly went on to work on wireframes for the websites interface. I created various wireframes with OXO Riverside to create the clean and clear layout they required.
Some examples of of the sketch wireframes:
The objective for the UI design & website was to create a clean, clear and a slick design that fitted their brand, colour scheme, but also allowed them to showcase their work with ease and provide easy contact and bookings. UI elements were created so we could reuse where necessary.
